"Executive for A Day"
Powered by One Life @ A Time, Inc., in February, 2023 - March, 2025 we were in partnerships with Voices Corp. and the Indy Humane Society. 2024 and ongoing, we are thrilled that we continued expanding our reach and growing our network of impactful partnerships. We are excited to announce some of the many initiatives in collaboration with the Eron Gordon Foundation, RecZone Indy, Inspire Collective Music, Indiana School of Medicine Youth Coalition (YoCo), Martindale Brightwood, Center for Leadership Development (CLD), Rooted School Indianapolis, Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation among others. Stay tuned for more updates as we work together to create lasting positive change in our community.
Objective: To empower at-risk youth ( We call them at “Promise” youth), by providing hands-on experience in various executive leadership roles and encouraging them to use their voices. This approach enhances their skills and confidence, affirming that their voices truly matter.
Outcome: The youth will gain a comprehensive understanding of executive leadership by expressing their views and voices while exploring roles in creativity, financials, marketing, buying, sales, visual merchandising, and social media. Their dedication will make a lasting impact. Through this program, we strive to create meaningful change, One Life @ A Time.
Participants: At-risk youth, (We call them at “Promise youth”), will gain valuable insights into executive leadership and team collaboration through their active engagement and voice.

Our CEO & Founder of One Life @ A Time, Inc., Donielle Martin, is a member and partner with The Center for Juvenile Justice Reform at Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy and the Coalition for Juvenile Justice Council. She has been invited to Washington, D.C., to collaborate with national leaders and organizations dedicated to supporting youth involved in the justice system.
During this important engagement, Donielle will work alongside the YFC team and partners from across the United States to identify additional resources, opportunities, and supports that may benefit youth and families throughout their journeys. These collaborative efforts will focus on policy advancement, youth empowerment, and strengthening circles of change that drive meaningful juvenile justice reform.
This is just one of many impactful initiatives on the horizon as we continue our commitment to transforming lives, One Life @ A Time.

When all hope feels gone, and you hear a young man such as Pray’Eon tell his story. “I didn’t think I belonged here… today I KNOW I BELONG HERE!!” it resonates deeply. It brings hope to those currently fighting substance use disorders, mental health disorders, Trauma and the many things that try to hold them back & It was truly a pleasure to have our very own Judge Gaither Geoffrey A. Gaither in DC & a blessing that Judge Gaither is continuing to try and understand this ongoing epidemic affecting our youth and young men. The battle in the mind can become a prison within itself!
Stories like Pray’Eon remind us that healing, purpose, and freedom are possible. Keep fighting!! Your Authentic Voice Matters! Your story is not over.

Ava did THAT!!!
She had the incredible opportunity to speak at the State House in front of over 500 participants about her brand, **“Be Yourself”** & she wore her signature T-shirt and sold her delicious homemade cookies! Ava closed out the speaking part of the program with her speech!
Watching her confidently share her vision, passion, and purpose was nothing short of AMAZING!
And of course, I was on the scene advocating for **#OneLifeAtATime** because when one rises, we all rise!
Her beautiful mom, Autumn, supported Ava the entire day, love, encouragement, and strength every step of the way!
